Sapiens App Launcher
Sapiens: "Mouse-gesture activated launcher that predicts the applications you will need"
I like it. Now will I actually remember to use it? We'll see. If my dock starts to shrink, then I guess it's a keeper. Not bad for $20.

Found out last night that Pioneer has a free app called AVIC FEEDS that I can use to customize my new F700BT. Windows only -- boo! But I can add custom points of interest to route to and edit my icons and splash screens (plus more). Sweet. It's so nerdy, it's awesome!
p.s. There's even a forum for Avic enthusiasts. Wow.
Per a previous story, I finally tried out a little work with the Wacom on a picture from Hot Water Blast. I made it not so invisible because I liked the way it looked with a little of the background coming through.
Found a neato site featured on Notcot today: Invisibilia, "people in the photos have been digitally removed and replaced with drawings." This sounds like a nice challenge for me and my Wacom. Come on Wacom, let's have some fun!

A little late posting these (10/16/2006) but whatever.

I love Apple's product packaging. It's art in itself.

*drum roll*

My MacBook Pro traveled from Shanghi to Anchorage to Indianapolis to Dallas in 2 days. I just hope it's on the truck to my house tomorrow! Picked up a bag via Apple's store on the day of the big purchase and received it on Friday: STM's Medium Loft in grey/slate. Was trying to decide between a neato bag with a fuzzy Kermit green interior and a soft grey exterior and this one, but decided on the one with more folder pockets. I really liked the fuzzy green, though. I like tactile stimuli.

As response to a comment about these lovely little Space Invader decals... I added a little flair to James' cube this week:

Lysol sanitizing wipes...because people can be gross. Communications of the ACM. A bud vase waiting for flowers from the garden. My sexy little Razr. WebReference...yes, the diagram was created by a girl. Who else would use such an array of colors? Lei from Becky's surprise Chuck E. Cheese's birthday lunch. "Reducing Coupling" by Martin Fowler courtesy of my teams favorite architect. Yes, that's a bowling pin in my neighbors cube. Calendar of cute frogs and toads in silly poses. An echevaria. Garden Design magazine. One of my trusty little notebooks...of course I couldn't go with the standard black and white marble. That would be too boring for our circus of a team.
